Finding your way around VonBest’s Gallery collection is very easy. The platform has been arranged into four functional areas:

- The left navigation bar, informs you about VonBest, provides access to the complete collection or to the collection of paintings, or to the sculpture collection or to relevant novelties, or takes you back to the homepage

- The right navigation bar, where you can manage your orders, sign in, or perform a search

- The lower navigation bar , where you can access information regarding your order, sign up to receive the Newsletter, check your VonBest account, etc.

- And finally the central area , where you have access to all products and their links to information and sales, and where requested information is shown.

Once a piece of artwork has been chosen, the buying stage is simple: select the item and add it to the shopping basket by clicking on the shopping basket icon, then select the preferred method of payment and the destination. When dealing with an order that requires a reservation the procedure is similar. Select the piece of artwork and press “reservation request”. An automated form will appear to send a telematic transmission. A more detailed order will then be processed.

You can find the entire gallery’s works of art under the link “The collection”. If you prefer to search for classified artwork, there are three further categories within the Collection: Paintings, Sculptures, and Novelties.

To access the collection and its categories alone you must use the navigation menus on the left of the page. To find work of a certain size, using a reference number, by technique, or by price etc. you can use the search section situated on the right hand side of the page. According to the data entered, the search will show the items that are available.

Once selected simply click on the name or on “Display product” to see the technical profile. The photo of the piece of art can be amplified by clicking on it or on “Detail View”.

If you want to buy the artwork, you can place it into the shopping basket by clicking on the shopping basket icon. Once in the basket, you can continue purchasing other articles, or finish placing the order by clicking the “buy” button found at the bottom of the basket zone. At any given moment you can check your shopping basket using the link found above the “buy” button.

On placing the order all transactions from that moment on take place under a secure connection, guaranteeing data confidentiality. At one stage your username and password will be requested. As an existing client you will have to enter only this data. If you are not registered however, the order can not be completed. Once registered, your username and password should be used in all future transactions. All of your personal details will be saved under your customer profile so that, for future purchases, they will not have to be re-entered.

Once the order has been placed, a summary of it will appear. Before proceeding, the method of payment and the shipping zone have to be chosen from one of the options given. Details can be found under each chosen option. After these details have been entered, the order is concluded by clicking the “buy” button situated in the lower part.

Finally, confirmation that the process has been completed correctly will appear, together with the order number, providing a summary of purchased products. The buying process is now complete.
